Sustainability

The air purifier with NCCO technology removes harmful substances in the air. Experiments have proved that it can be used for up to 12 years.

RHT and b-MOLA air purifiers manufactured and sold by RHT Industries Limited utilize NCCO (Nano-confined catalytic oxidation) technology developed by researchers from Hong Kong. The air purifier effectively removes harmful pollutants, including carcinogens, bacteria and viruses in the air. This sustainable technology decreases environmental pollution usually caused by the use of traditional air purification technology.

Traditional purification technologies brings wastes to the landfill

RHT and members of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Program have developed the NCCO (Nano-confined catalytic oxidation) technology. These air purification products have been adopted by over 200 medical institutions worldwide, proving its excellent performance in its sterilization and removal of volatile organic compounds in the air.

The air purifier adopting NCCO technology removes harmful substances in the air using active oxygen generators and the NCCO reaction layer. The oxygen polymerization reaction layer is characteristic of its regeneration property. Studies prove that it can be used for up to 12 years.

NCCO technology helps sustainable development

In addition, the materials used in the oxygen polymerization reaction layer can be completely decomposed into harmless substances. The decomposition decreases pollution to the environment, reducing the cost of users and society.

A UBC study has shown that the NCCO technology is more effective than other technologies such as plasmacluster and photocatalysis.
